Bazooka Joe came to the shelter as a stray at 12 weeks old. He showed his love of swimming early on when he swam out to the middle of the pond where the dogs and I were swimming. We were truly amazed. He started jumping in the summer of 2007 with jumps of 7 to 10 feet. After awhile he took off and his jumps grew to 17 feet. With practice and his high energy for the sport we feel he will only get better and better in 2008. This year we are excited for him to show his talent with the Ultimate Vertical challenge. His legs are built like springs. He loves to be around people, puppies and kids. We feel he is a positive refection of the fun and companionship you can have with a dog.
